Fellow runners, I need advice?
I do the routine stretching before, during and after to make sure I don’t pull a muscle or hurt myself. But sometimes, I feel this pinching sensation on my left knee… and no matter what I do, it won’t go away. I end up calling it a day and end my running session.
My doctor tells me I need to spend more time stretching, but it’s not helping..
Any of you have this same problem?
Thanks in advance!.

YES!!! but ijust work through it and it eventually goes away. just don’t hurt yourself!
Yea, I get the same. Run on sand or ride a bike instead.
I’ve been running frequently for several years and over the years I’ve had a lot of problems with my knees. You probabally have either runners knee or ITB syndrome as they are the two most common knee injuries in runners.
Judging by what your doctor said it sounds like you have ITB as one of symptoms of ITB syndrome is a tight illotibial band and the pain you experience while running can be relieved by stretching it out.
Your ITB runs up the outside of your thigh and even if it’s not the cause of your problem there is no harm in stretching it out anyway.
This injury is common among soccer players as well. My fried had it for some time, early on he felt it wasn’t responding to phsyio or icing. Sort of permanently tight tendon and soreness. Problem is, he liked soccer way too much and couldn’t keep off the field. He finally decided to take few weeks off and see if it helps!
Mark Martinez,
So.. what’s your best creatine for strength gains what brand would you pick?
I think while doing sports these types of injuries are very usual but we have to get out of it by doing some good exercises. Thank you for sharing this article.
