Hi, great site! Great title too (Run Like Hell!) Just one question: at first glance the site seems to be a straight running site but yet there seems to be conflicting content, ie you state in some entries that ‘long boring cardio’ is a no-no and praise interval training and sprinting. Do you endorse both sprints AND steady state, or do you endorse both kinds of training done together or on separate days? Thanks for any replies. Cheers, Kieran.
I like to switch it up. I was on a HIIT kick for a while, but I think that a variety is probably best. Now that the weather is warming up, I’ve been doing longer runs (“long boring cardio”).
Thanks for the reply. I’m running 4 days a week for maybe 30-35 mins a time. I’m trying to lose maybe another pounds. Do you think I’d do by sprinting on both days and then just doing slower regular runs on the other days? The other alternative I suppose would be to increase my slower runs to 40-45 mins. I do bodyweight strength training on two days – push-ups, pull-ups, chair dips, planks, etc. Hey, thanks again for any replies. Kieran.
Is there an email i can reach you at?
