Running is defined as “a gait in which at some point all feet are off the ground at the same time”.
Why do I run?
Simply put, I run because I can. I started running in college to try and stay in shape, and it became part of my routine. It’s not always convenient, as life (and injuries, sometimes directly related to said running) often gets in the way, but at the end of the day I don’t feel content if I didn’t get a chance to run. The benefits (both physical and mental) that I get from running far outweigh the potential injuries.
Note: The ‘recent runs’ in my sidebar are updated automatically using Nike+ whenever I sync my iPod. I don’t take my iPod with me everytime I run, and some days I do different forms of cardio, so these updates aren’t always consistent.
More to come.
Feedback is always welcome – I’m constantly changing the site!

I can relate to your writing. Exellent explanation and detail.
